Instantly recognisable by its gorgeous blue exterior, the cottage has the warm, welcoming feel of a true South West holiday home. Inside, original jarrah floorboards, high ceilings and abundant natural light create a wonderful sense of space, while thoughtful updates ensure all the comforts you need for an easy getaway.

The large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is the heart of the home. There’s plenty of room for everyone to gather around the dining table, stretch out on the generous leather lounge or settle in beside the enclosed Jarrahdale wood fire on a cool Augusta evening. Reverse-cycle air conditioning provides comfort through the warmer months, while Google Chromecast makes relaxed movie nights easy.

The spacious kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, with ample bench space and everything needed to prepare anything from a quick breakfast before exploring to a relaxed family dinner using fresh local produce.

Sleeping up to five guests, the cottage offers two comfortable Queen bedrooms and a third bedroom with a Single bunk. A generous family bathroom includes a walk-in shower, vanity and toilet, with the convenience of an additional separate toilet.

Outside is where Blue Cottage really comes into its own. The large covered deck is made for slow breakfasts, afternoon drinks and family dinners, overlooking an established, private garden with lawn, fruit trees and a veggie patch. The fully fenced grounds give children room to enjoy the outdoors, while the generous property provides that wonderful feeling of space increasingly hard to find in town.

There’s also an office nook for anyone needing to check in with work, NBN Wi-Fi, washing machine and plenty of practical space for longer stays.

Best of all, you can enjoy the peaceful feel of a residential Augusta cottage while being within an easy, flat walk of the town centre, local cafés, bakery, shops and beautiful Hardy Inlet.

Spend your days boating on the Blackwood River, fishing, exploring Flinders Bay, visiting Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse or discovering Augusta’s spectacular coastline, then return to your own blue cottage for dinner on the deck and a cosy evening by the fire.

This house is for family holidays only (as are all of our holiday homes), and is not a venue for functions, party house or to be used for social gatherings or weddings. The maximum number of guests at the home at any one time must not exceed the number of guests confirmed in the reservation.

There is no smoking allowed inside or outside.

This property is strictly NOT pet friendly.

Seaside Homes does not accept bookings from Leavers or associated groups.

To help protect this property, a pre-authorisation of AUD $500 will be processed on a valid credit card prior to arrival. This is a temporary hold only and is not a charge. It will be released after departure, provided the property is left in accordance with the booking terms and no damage or additional charges are identified.
