1) The Guest declares that he/she is over 21 years of age, and no Guest under the age of 21 is permitted to occupy the property unless accompanied by an adult (sorry no Leavers).
2) All occupants are to act lawfully at all times.
3) So that the property can be serviced and maintained between bookings, the check in time is from 3pm, and check out is by 10am, unless otherwise agreed. Guests remaining on the premises beyond the agreed check-out time will be charged $70 per hour of additional occupation (minimum of $70).
4) The number of persons to occupy the property are as per the confirmed booking, with no more than 10 guests staying under any circumstance.
5) Make sure you park on the property in the designated hard stand areas, not on the street.
6) The number of vehicles (including all motorised vehicles and trailers) parked at the Holiday House must not exceed 5.
7) You are staying in a bushfire prone area. Ensure you and your group familiarise yourselves with the emergency evacuation procedure, located on the fridge.
8) Please ensure you access the beach by walking along the footpath at the back of the home, and then use the beach access pathway, rather than cutting across the neighbour's land as this is trespassing and they do not appreciate it! We also recommend the pathway rather than cutting through the bushland as there is lots of native plants and animals, including snakes, that need to be protected and not interfered with. Thanks for your understanding.
9) Please wash off excess sand with the garden hose before entering the home.
10) Seasonally during the period primarily between August to November this area is prone to mosquito breeding. In the South West mosquitoes can transmit Ross River virus and Barmah Forest virus. You are advised to take appropriate precautions such as wearing long loose clothing and applying an effective repellent to avoid being bitten. Further information can be sought from - Prevent Mosquito Bites (healthywa.wa.gov.au).
11) No parties, special functions or gatherings are permitted on the property.
12) Out of respect for the community – there is to be minimal noise levels between 10pm until 10am. Parties are not permitted, and music noise, loud TV or stereo exceeding prescribed noise levels will not be tolerated. An after-hours contact has been provided to neighbouring properties for response to noise complaints. Please be aware that any noise complaints may mean there has been a breach of terms and conditions and will result in immediate termination of accommodation reservation and if required, a $500 charge to your nominated credit card.
13) Each guest who enters, uses or occupies the home, including any outdoor areas, for example an outdoor entertainment area, deck or balcony, must not act in a manner that could reasonably be expected to cause alarm, distress or nuisance to neighbours adjoining or in the vicinity of the Holiday House, including but not limited to—
(a) violence or threats;
(b) loud aggressive behaviour including yelling, screaming or arguing;
(c) excessively loud noise nuisance; and
(d) overlooking or light spill.
14) A strict "No Camping Allowed" policy applies to the property. This includes camping equipment such as sleeping bags, mattresses, tents, campervans, caravans, mobile homes, buses, etc and more cars than the property accommodates.
15) Rubbish bins must be placed on the verge side by THURSDAY evening for FRIDAY morning, 6am weekly waste removal. Please do not park in front of the bins. The green bin is collected weekly, however see the flier on the fridge for yellow or red bin days, which alternative weekly for collection. Any rubbish including recyclable material left beside bins will incur a charge for removal.
Please utilise the correct bin for your rubbish:
i. RED BIN: General waste
ii. There is also an additional General waste bin with a green lid and a sticker on it titled “Shire of Capel #2” this bin can also be used for general waste and can be placed on the curb at the same time as the red lid bin.
iii. YELLOW BIN: Recycling
iv. GREEN BIN: All food and garden waste. We encourage you to use this bin. Compost bags for food waste are located under the sink as well as a FOGO caddy bin. Compost bags can then go in the green bin.
If you could please assist with bringing the bins in soon after they have been collected that would be very much appreciated.
16) Please do not place bait in the kitchen fridge/freezer.
17) Please clean any caught fish at the beach prior to bringing the seafood back to the property. There are no cleaning facilities located at the property.
18) There is no smoking permitted anywhere on the property.
19) Pets are not allowed at this holiday home under any circumstance.
20) All breakages and damage must be reported immediately and is the responsibility of the guest. Guest to message on arrival if they notice damage and attach a picture to message where possible.
21) Please do not move furniture around during your stay - a fee may be charged for a tradesperson to put items back.
22) If the oven and cook top run out of gas, the bottles are located downstairs on the south wall of the outside of the garage. Just switch the small green level over to the full bottle.
