Busselton Foreshore, is a great family destination in Western Australia. It features a beautiful sandy beach with calm waters, perfect for kids. The iconic Busselton Jetty offers a picturesque stroll over Geographe Bay. The area includes activities like playgrounds and water parks, ensuring entertainment for children. There are also cafes, restaurants, picnic spots, and facilities like restrooms and ample parking, making it convenient for families to spend quality time together outdoors. Throughout the year, the foreshore hosts events and festivals, adding to the family-friendly atmosphere.

Gnarabup Beach, near Margaret River is a family-friendly spot with a picturesque coastline, gentle waters, and soft sand. Dog-Friendly Beaches

Yallingup Beach, the beach area north of the Dawson Drive access path in Yallingup allows dogs. Clear signage marks the exclusion zone, extending from the Dawson Drive path to the Slippery Rocks Car Park. Given the surrounding national park, it's important to access Yallingup Beach via the Dawson Drive entrance for dog-friendly areas.

Augusta, Flinders Bay offers an excellent space for your furry friend to roam. Dogs can enjoy off-leash freedom from the surfer’s lookout at Albany Terrace to the area where Albany Terrace changes direction to the west.

Dunsborough Foreshore, visitors can expect a warm reception for dogs in specific zones: from the fisherman’s boat ramp close to McDermott St to the Beach access path across Lot 30 Geographe Bay Road. Similarly, from the western side of Tulloh Street extending to Centennial Park in Dunsborough. In Old Dunsborough, dogs are welcome between the Gifford Road access path and Burt Court Beach access path, and also within the area bounded by Vincent Street and Bay View Court.

The break at Honeycombs is more accessible compared to some of the more challenging spots nearby, making it suitable for intermediate to advanced surfers.

The waves at Honeycombs often provide long, peeling rides, making it a favourite among locals and visitors alike. The break works best with a moderate swell and offshore winds, creating clean and enjoyable surfing conditions.


Surfers Point, is one of the most iconic and well-known surf spots in Margaret River, Western Australia. It's revered for its fantastic waves, picturesque setting, and the annual Margaret River Pro, a championship-level surfing competition held there.

The break at Surfers Point offers consistent and powerful waves that cater to surfers of various skill levels, from intermediate to advanced. It's a reef break that produces both left and right-hand waves, providing plenty of opportunities for long rides and impressive maneuvers.
